Gifted and Talented

From 2010 Blacktown Boys will take in 30 students in Year 7 who have undertaken the Selective Schools test and have been judged academically worthy of placement in a selective school. Providing for Gifted and Talented students is a key focus at Blacktown Boys' High. From 2009 a distinct class (GTi) will be available for students who have either passed the entrance test, or who have been specifically recommended by their primary school.

• The school has received a Director General's Award for implementation of the Standards Referenced Higher School Certificate.
