Blacktown Boys' High School was established in 1959. The school's vision is to provide a quality education for boys which includes academic and sporting excellence as well as supporting personal and social development.

Gifted and Talented
From 2010 Blacktown Boys will take in 30 students in Year 7 who have undertaken the Selective Schools test and have been judged academically worthy of placement in a selective school. Providing for Gifted and Talented students is a key focus at Blacktown Boys' High. From 2009 a distinct class (GTi) will be available for students who have either passed the entrance test, or who have been specifically recommended by their primary school.
